In this picture there are so many factors that give off the effect of rebellion. Firstly the most of obvious one is the cigarette; the hand and cigarette dominate the picture as much as Pete himself with the smoke drifting towards the top of the frame giving off a care free atmosphere. Secondly the iconic trilby, hardly ever is Pete Doherty spotted or snapped without his trusty trilby this shows that Pete is a mysterious man and he is happy to stick with his own fashion and style.
